[English]

The aim of this research was to investigate the impact of Tehran Municipality's Tasnim project on the change in environmental attitudes and participation of women in District 12.
The research employed a survey methodology. The statistical population comprised 400 women from District 12 who participated in the implementation of the Tasnim project. The sample size was calculated to be 196 individuals using Cochran's sampling formula. Simple random sampling was utilized to select the sample participants. The data collection instrument was a researcher-developed questionnaire, which demonstrated face validity. A Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.74 indicated the reliability of the research instrument.
The results of the t-test indicated that the implementation of the Municipality's Tasnim project influenced the cognitive (t=20.571, Sig=0.000), affective (t=32.505, Sig=0.000), and behavioral (t=19.342, Sig=0.000) dimensions of women in District 10 regarding environmental issues. This led to a change in attitude and increased environmental participation among women in District 10 of the municipality. The correlation test results showed no significant relationship between women's age (sig=0.069), income (sig=0.111), education (sig=0.156) and their environmental participation. However, a weak negative relationship (r=-0.179) was observed between age (sig=0.012) and environmental
attitude change in educated women. Furthermore, a weak positive relationship (r=0.241) was found between the level of satisfaction with the implementation of Tasnim projects (sig=0.001) and environmental attitude change. Conversely, no relationship was found between income, education, and environmental attitude change in educated women. The chi-square test results also indicated a significant relationship between occupation and environmental attitude change in educated women (sig=0.008).
The research findings suggest that the implementation of the Tasnim projects has been effective in influencing the environmental attitudes and participation of women in District 12 of the municipality.
